Catch the Luck of the Irish at Linden Place! Linden Place Mansion welcomes children of all ages and their families to an afternoon of fun Irish music, stories, dancing and singing, crafts and refreshments in celebration of Irish Heritage Month on Saturday, March 2nd from 2pm-4pm. Music featuring fiddle, mountain dulcimer, bodhran (Irish drum), singing, dancing and percussion playing by the audience will keep your toes tapping!
2:00pm-2:30pm – Irish-themed crafts
2:30pm-3:15pm – Step-dancing, stories and interactive music with Mary King and Phil Edmonds
3:15pm – 4:00pm – Refreshments and more fun
Irish musicians Mary King and Phil Edmonds keep the tradition of Irish music alive and well in the lively and spirited stories and songs you will hear, and your ears and eyes will smile. “Mary has a rare gift, the ability to captivate a young audience’s attention with her delightful interactive musical performance and gentle humor. The event takes place at Linden Place Mansion, 500 Hope Street, Bristol, Rhode Island. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children. Linden Place Members receive a $2 discount.
